VITAL & MEE CHIET’S FIELD STUDY
Introduction
At Friday 4th August, The CamEd International Business Club has established the field study under the management of Mr. Sovey as a Team leader and Ms. Nika as a Contact Person to Vital and Mee Chiet which was located along Chneas Chneas Blvd, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh with assistance from the management team of CIBC. Additionally, it’s participated by 50 fresh and senior members from multiple departments. The professional management, the competence team leader, and the quality of the firm’s touring we have visited are running smoothly as planned. Due to the convenient timing and location, we visited two factories during the field study, twice physically touring each one under the guidance of a knowledgeable and highly experienced employee in the Vital and Mee Chiet factory.
Purpose
An event established without a purpose is uncertain, yet each of CamEd International Business Club’s events have always started up with a purposeful goal. Likewise, the first field study aims to learn about the history of both Vital Premium Water and Mee Chiet, discover how water and noodle is produced, and find out little significant material information. The success of this field study can be attributed to us being knowledgeable in the food and beverage industry.
Vision
As the Team Leader Sovey said “The vision I had is to become a better version of myself and to help grow the club to become one of the best clubs among school”. Otherwise it not only grows the club member’s awareness but also to turn over a new leaf and bite the bullet of how huge cooperative structures distribute their goods to their intended market and business associates.
Vital background
Vital Premium Water is a product of N.V.C Corporation Co., Ldt., a leading local company in the manufacturing and distribution of food and beverage industry, officially founded on january 7, 2010. Under the mission to provide premium water to enhance human life and society and vision to be the most admired national company in the drinking water industry. Quality management is included, which has five core values including quality, result-oriented, integrity, communication, and entrepreneurship. These are the essential components that contribute to Vital a profitable business.
Additionally, Vital has come to understand the value of contributing to society. They put this concept into practice by starting the "25 Riel Foundation" charity program. Every bottle of Vital Premium Water you consume means that you contribute 25 Riel to the foundation. The funds collected are pooled for Corporate Social Responsibility and charitable endeavors that target four key areas: Education, Environment, Health & Sports, and Culture & Society.

Mee Chiet background
Mee Chiet, an instant-noodle was inaugurated by One More Manufacturing Co., Ldt. Born in common vision, mission and quality management as Vital Premium Water, it was developed through extremely diligent R&D and produced using advanced machinery and technology from Japan to ensure their products are of high quality, offer high nutritional values, benefit to health, and come with authentic Khmer tastes as the quotation "Japanese machines and technology, but the taste and quality of Cambodia”.
