Field Study: Vattanac Capital

I. Introduction

The CamEd International Business Club conducted a field study at Vattanac Capital on July 23th, 2022. Two team leaders, Ms.Soniza Seng, and Ms.Chanchoranay Nhik planned this field study, which included a total of 52 participants including both shifts. The management team of CIBC also provided the support. One of Phnom Penh’s most prestigious addresses for business is Vattanac Capital. This iconic building, which rises to a height of 187.3m, was planned and built for Cambodia's developing business and leisure community to the best international standards. This building is located at 66 Preah Monivong Boulevard, Sangkat Wat Phnom Khan Daun Penh, PhnomPenh.

II. Purpose

The purpose of this tour is to have a personal look at Vattanac Capital Investment building’s Life style cube, shopping mall, offices, and the manufacture of both.

III. Vision

The goal of Vattanac Capital was to establish a structure that connects the past and present and serves as a catalyst for altering how the world perceives Cambodia. Vattanac Properties Limited overcame several obstacles and persisted despite the failures it encountered to make this a reality.

  • Shopping mall: Some of the most recognizable luxury and lifestyle companies from across the world are dispersed throughout the three floors of Vattanac Capital Mall. Many people have made this their only entry point into the nation. The mall has revolutionized dining, entertainment, and shopping in Phnom Penh and gives guests the chance to enjoy the best shopping Cambodia has to offer, which include 30 luxury brands across the world.

  • Offices: The flooring is made of stone slabs, ceramic stoneware tiles, ornamental glass, and wood panels, while the ceiling is made of cement. The entry to the office zone has an access control system that needs either an employee swipe card or signing up for a guest card with security. Each toilet also included a handicapped restroom and a shower space on the floor.

  • Lifestyle cube: The Vattanac Capital Mall, which is housed in a glass lifestyle cube, is positioned on the Naga's back to symbolise Cambodia's status as the pearl of Asia. Visitors may view the glass façade from a different, but no less magnificent, perspective in its light-filled centre. It is further connected to Cambodia's history through the use of traditional Khmer themes throughout the development. The Lifestyle Cube perfectly complements the main tower and has eight spacious floors that house the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia's major offices, as well as headquarters for sophisticated dentistry services like Denriche Asia, an innovative fertility facility, and other organizations. A movie theatre, food court, fitness facility, conference centre, and other retail, entertainment, and F&B alternatives will be included in the future lifestyle cube.

  • ROSEWOOD PHNOM PENH: The top 14 stories of Vattanac Capital Tower, Phnom Penh's most recognizable contemporary building and a symbol of the country's transformation, house Rosewood Phnom Penh, which rises 188 metres above the city's commercial core.
