To begin, this coffee shop is owned by Mr. Sum Sovannpanha. At first, the coffee shop was opened with the help of his mother, and it was more of a family business. Later on, he and his brother went to a coffee exhibition in Thailand to pick out a coffee grain for a newly founded shop. Eventually, he returned and was given some advice before making a final decision. Gradually, with his potential growing, he took matters into his own hands.


Additionally, the shop's biggest targets are students. With this aim, he has consulted with a marketer to figure out what he should do to narrow in on his target. Mainly, his focus was people, and students who are looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the coffee while doing their own things peacefully. With this in mind, he even hand-picked a sofa to ensure that his customers will be comfortable while sitting on it. He also chooses a fast internet connection that can serve up to 50 individuals at once.


Apparently, the coffee shop industry is extremely competitive as the barrier to enter is easy, whereas the operation cycle is hard to keep up with. To compete with other coffee shops, he creates a menu of homemade food that is unlike anything else on the market. Finally, he mentioned that in the future, he wants to focus his shop on nutritious food in order to expand it and make it more well-known. Moreover, Café Inn has also collaborated with several delivery apps and is rated as an average of 4 out of 5.
