APRIL FOOLDAY CHARITY CONCERT

April fool day Charity Concert

           

           On 1^st of April 2017, our year 1 student hosted an event called “April fool Day Charity” concert which was planned to achieve the objective of philosophy project.

It was started when a group of students gathered up and formed a team named “The Clock Team”. They came up with a great idea of creating the charity concert which everyone thought was impossible to be organized by a group of young people with no experience.

Fantastically, the concert turned out to be a success. Despite the awful weather which was raining nonstop all day, The Clock team managed to host the concert successfully with the honorable presence of Mrs. Soum Sokunteary general manager of CamEd Business School, Philosophy lecturer Douglas Mani-Kant, and the representatives of sponsors. On top of that, it was as well thank to all the famous artists, emcee, and performers who took part and contributed to the concert, and the passionate participants, which together made this event turned out smoothly.

Purpose: To raise fund to help education quality improve in rural areas by providing resources to the schools in need, and to put theories learnt in classroom into practice

Mission:

•  Get the authority from CamEd institute
•  Get as many sponsors as possible for the event
•  Run a successful workshop minimum interruption
• Donate all the funds from the event to support the education quality in the countryside

The audience enjoyed the concert with many talented performers and famous artists in the country such as Sokun Nisa, Tell Thai, Virak Nich, Sorm Soasovanna, Sai, Khak, guitarist Sann Sorphorn, Dance crew RCHD Dance Group, Terk Kalork BANK ft. Tata Arika, Ny Rathana, Peypey Dy as emcee, Ah Da Sakada, GB and EDM by Dj Dan Dan. The Clock team invited all these famous people to contribute together and made this event happen.

             The Clock team run this event successfully because of the power of the people in team who put great effort to accomplish it and managed to do a good job together, regardless of the difficulties they had to face throughout the process. From this first experience, they have learnt a lot from the things they have done together. Last but definitely not least, it was as well thank to the sponsors such as Huawei, and Nesa; together with the support from CamEd Business School, International Business Club, and Home Photograph which without, the event would not turn out as successful and reach the expected outcome as it has.
